Ávila and Segovia
Heritage at every step
After picking you up comfortably at your hotel, we will head towards Avila, a medieval jewel that awaits you amidst history, spirituality and monumental beauty.
Our visit begins where the imposing walls embrace the old town, on a route that takes us between towers, centuries-old stone and the silence of past centuries. We will walk next to the Cathedral-fortress and we will step into the life and legacy of Saint Teresa of Jesus, visiting the convent where she was born and understanding the deep spiritual mark she left on this city.
The morning flows through cobbled alleyways, charming squares, and unforgettable viewpoints. From the famous Mirador de los Cuatro Postes, you’ll enjoy one of the most iconic panoramic views in all of Spain.
From there, we’ll head to Segovia, where history, art, and Castilian gastronomy await.
Upon arrival, you will be amazed by the Roman Aqueduct, a masterpiece of ancient engineering that marks the entrance to this World Heritage City. From there we begin a pleasant stroll through the historic centre, crossing the Plaza Mayor until we reach the majestic Gothic Cathedral.
At lunchtime, your guide will recommend the best local spots to suit your tastes. Craving something quick and light? Or perhaps a traditional dish like cochinillo asado (roast suckling pig) or judiones de La Granja (local beans) in a classic tavern? The choice is yours.
In the afternoon, we’ll end our visit at the legendary Alcázar de Segovia—a castle fit for a fairy tale and one of the most photographed sites in Spain.
At around 5:00 PM, we’ll begin our journey back to Madrid.
