How it all started …

The Other Spain was born in 2013 as an inbound travel agency specialized in revealing a different side of Spain. Our aim was to move away from conventional tourism and open the doors of the country’s inland and northern regions to a more demanding travellers in search of more authentic experiences.

From the beginning we focused on crafting tailor-made routes offering a unique perspective: UNESCO-listed cities, breathtaking natural landscapes, and living traditions—far from the typical sun-and-beach holiday.

Our guests are international travellers drawn to culture, art, history, and cuisine. People who value exclusivity, but also seek authenticity.

We identified a need: private, high-quality services were hard to book flexibly and often overpriced.
Our goal became clear—to make exceptional experiences more accessible, without compromising on quality, warmth, or comfort.

That’s how our small group model was born. Carefully designed and operated by us, under the name The Other Spain Tours.

…and so we evolve

The Other Spain Tours is now an online sales platform focused on nearby routes, with daily departures from different parts of Spain, for a maximum of 6 people in a private vehicle and with a dedicated guide.

We currently operate from Madrid, visiting emblematic destinations such as Toledo, Segovia, Ávila, Cuenca, and Sigüenza—places rich in heritage, nature, and gastronomy, where every detail is carefully curated.

More routes are coming soon, and we’ll be announcing them shortly.

Each itinerary is designed to offer a complete, unhurried, and personal experience—ideal for travellers who wish to discover the destinations they visit, in a relaxed, semi-private format at a more affordable price.

We also continue to offer fully private, tailor-made experiences for those looking for an even more exclusive immersion.
